چکیده
Absract The collective of Professor Puscas sugests a theory The pH theory, which presents as a common element of these three receptors (for histamine, acetylcholine and gastrine)the carbonic anhydrase. According to this theory histamine, gastrine and acetylcholine have a dual effect on the parietal cell: one known, that their specific receptor binding, and the second effect, that the activation of CA IV, discovered by Professor Puscas. The results suggest that activation of CA IV, by releasing of H, produces changes in pH, necessary histamine, acetylcholine and gastrine binding to specific membrane receptors. In this case, histamine the final common path according to Grossman's theory and Code theory have as common element the CA IV in parietal cell membranes, under pH theory.

Rosmarinic acid: a potent carbonic anhydrase isoenzymes inhibitor
Rosmarinic acid is a water-soluble ester of caffeic acid and 3,4-dihydroxyphenyllactic acids, and is mainly found in plant species including Boraginaceae and Lamiaceae. In this research, we determined the inhibition property of rosmarinic acid on carbonic anhydrase isoenzymes I and II (hCA I and II) purified from human erythrocytes by using Sepharose-4B affinity column chromatography. hCA I and...
متن کاملPartial characterization of a new isoenzyme of carbonic anhydrase isolated from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii.
A new isoenzyme of carbonic anhydrase has been isolated and purified from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. This carbonic anhydrase is composed of two nonidentical subunits with apparent molecular masses of 39 and 4.5 kDa and is located in the periplasmic space. This is the second periplasmic carbonic anhydrase found in C. reinhardtii. Two genes, CAH1 and CAH2, which code for carbonic anhydrase, have ...

Davenport and Fisher (1938) reported the discovery DOGS P School of Medicine of large amounts of carbonic anhydrase in the gastric mucosa of cats, rats and rabbits. Davenport (1939) demonstrated that carbonic anhydrase is present in high concentration in the parietal cells and in lower concentration in the cells of the surface epithelium of the gastric mucosa of cats and rats. When those invest...
متن کاملCarbonic anhydrases in normal gastrointestinal tract and gastrointestinal tumours.
Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) catalyse the hydration of CO2 to bicarbonate at physiological pH. This chemical interconversion is crucial since HCO3- is the substrate for several biosynthetic reactions. This review is focused on the distribution and role of CA isoenzymes in both normal and pathological gastrointestinal (GI) tract tissues. It has been known for many years that CAs are widely present ...
متن کاملLocation of histidine residues that react with bromoacetazolamide and N-bromoacetylacetazolamide in human and bovine carbonic anhydrases.
Human carbonic anhydrase C and bovine carbonic anhydrase B were modified with the affinity label, bromoacetazolamide, and human carbonic anhydrase B with N-bromoacetylacetazolamide. Tryptic peptides from the modified enzymes, containing alkylated histidines, have been isolated by ion exchange and two-dimensional high voltage electrophoresispaper chromatography. The partial amino acid sequence o...
